Chairperson’s message

In 2016 we had taken our maiden steps towards setting up our reinsurance subsidiary in the DIFC. Today, I look back at this journey with a sense of pride at what we have achieved and a heightened sense of anticipation at what lies ahead.

HDFC International Life and Re Company Limited is the first wholly owned international subsidiary of HDFC Life. It gives us immense pride to have been the first life reinsurer to be incorporated in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).

We believe HDFC International Life and Re is equipped with superior underwriting capabilities, risk management expertise and the appetite for technology driven innovations that have been the hallmark of its parent company.

I have no doubt that passion for customers, efficiency and a core set of values that bind us all together, will continue to be the cornerstone for HDFC International Life and Re.
